Care and Maintenance

Washing: Wash your cover with clean water only (no soap). Leaving the cover on the machine and using a car wash works well. Do not use a washer or dryer on your cover as this tends to be hard on the liner and washes away the waterproofing. Your cover has been treated with a UV treatment, however, leaving your cover in the sun for extended periods of time may cause some fading. When the cover is off the vehicle, be careful to keep the cotton liner clean and free of dirt. This can cause scratching when the cover is placed back on the vehicle.

Maintenance: While traveling with the cover on the vehicle, be sure to check the straps often to keep them tight. Loose straps cause the cover to flap in the wind and can cause damage to the cover or the vehicle.
